About Us

Intraspect Consulting Group was founded by E. Alan Mischler. Mr. Mischler has over thirty years of experience in working with small to mid-sized businesses in a variety of industries, and has a bachelor’s degree in business and finance from James Madison University and also a Master’s degree in business from Boston University.

Mr. Mischler started his career in the 1980s with Honeywell International in Brussels, Belgium. Since that time, Mr. Mischler has been the Director of Business Operations for the Health and Human Resources Sector of Battelle Memorial Institute and the Chief Financial Officer of Digital System Resources, Inc (DSR Inc.), in which he was a principal and a lead member of the team that took the company from six employees in 1987 to over 500 employees and $150M in revenues in 2003, resulting in the eventual sale to and acquisition of the company by General Dynamics.

Mr. Mischler’s breadth of involvement with these companies spans not only financial management but operations, contracts and human resources. He has handled all aspects of budgeting and reporting, financial analysis, contract negotiations, project management, human resources, procuring funding from lending institutions and preparing a company for sale or acquisition.

Intraspect has experts in budgeting and financial analysis with small to mid-sized businesses doing work for the federal government. We have hands-on experience with a variety of financial management software applications such as QuickBooks, Deltek’s GCS Premier and CostPoint and ECI’s enterprise manufacturing resource program, M1. Intraspect Consulting can help your company with the implementation and use of these and other software applications. This includes formation of the Chart of Accounts and structuring of department or division coding to provide roll-up reporting at the level best suited to your company’s needs. We can also assist your company with report design and analysis to provide management with the necessary information to assess performance at the corporate, division, department or even project level.
